Terms of
Service
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of schottlerworks.uk and the games and apps we publish there and on the Apple App Store and Google Play (together, the "Games"), operated by Schottlerworks ("we", "us", "our"), based in Australia. By playing a Game or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Games.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information — it's incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Fictional content
Our Games are entertainment and, unless a Game says otherwise, everything in them is fictional. Powder & Plunder's gold, doubloons and pearls have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed for cash. NeverFeeds is a satirical demo: every restaurant, menu item, review and delivery is invented, no real food is ordered or delivered, and no real payment is ever processed for "orders" placed in-game. Any resemblance between an in-game business and a real one is coincidental — if you run a real venue and want a name changed, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Your licence to use the Games
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Games for your own entertainment, on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the relevant app store's own terms. We own the Games and all content in them — this licence doesn't transfer any ownership to you.
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Games' code or assets, except where a law gives you the right to and we can't exclude it;
- Use bots, exploits, save-file editing or other means to gain an unfair advantage, manipulate leaderboards, or bypass a Game's economy or ad/purchase mechanics;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Games or any in-game content;
- Use the Games or site in any way that's unlawful, or that could damage, disable or impair them for other players.
In-app purchases and virtual items
Some Games offer optional in-app purchases of virtual currency or items (for example, Powder & Plunder's gold packs and No Ads Pass). Virtual items are licensed to you, not sold — they have no cash value, can't be exchanged for real money or transferred outside the Game, and may be changed, rebalanced or discontinued at our discretion. Purchases are processed by the app store (Apple or Google), and their own payment and refund terms apply — refund requests should go through the relevant app store, not us.
Advertising
Some Games show optional rewarded ads (via Google AdMob) in exchange for an in-game reward — you choose when to watch one, and nothing forces you to. The public site may also show ads via Google AdSense. See Privacy for how ad partners handle information.
Age and eligibility
You need your parent or guardian's permission to use the Games if you're under the age of digital consent in your country. Some Games — such as Chaotic Arithmetic — are designed for children; others are general-audience and not directed at children. Check each Game's app store rating.
Availability and changes
We may update, rebalance, add to, remove features from, or discontinue a Game at any time, and we don't guarantee the Games or site will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may also update these Terms from time to time — continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
Termination
You can stop using a Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to a Game if you materially breach these Terms, including cheating, exploiting, or abusive conduct toward other players or us.
Disclaimer and liability
The Games and site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schottlerworks is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Games or site. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Games will be handled under Australian law.
