A free pirate idle clicker, from raft to flagship
Powder & Plunder is a free pirate game and incremental clicker with real depth. Every tap fires your cannons; every sunk ship fills your hold. Spend your haul on 55 upgrades in the Ship's Manifest, deal under the table at the Black Market, stock up from the Quartermaster, and send a fleet of Mateys to keep plundering while you're ashore.
There are 20 ship tiers of 30 stages each. The first ten, from the Castaway Raft to the Fire Ship, each bring their own twist, from shields and hull regen to scorching heat. Then come Hostile Waters: ten more ships, from the Revenant Caravel to The Locker's Judgment, that fire back, so your own hull needs defending. Trigger a Broadside or Overdrive for burst damage, chase daily milestones, unlock ship skins and sea themes, and sign the Pirate's Pact to prestige for permanent multipliers, Ascension perks and Tier Skips when you're ready to start again, stronger.

Is it free?
Yes. Powder & Plunder is free to play in your browser, on iPhone and on Android. The apps offer optional in-app purchases.
Do I need to install anything?
Not if you play in the browser: it loads in any modern browser on desktop or mobile — just hit "Play 2.0 free". If you'd rather have an app, it's free on the App Store and Google Play.
Does my progress save?
Yes, on the device you play on. In the browser, progress is stored in that browser, so clearing site data or switching browsers starts a fresh voyage. The iPhone and Android apps save on your phone.
What's new in Powder & Plunder 2.0?
The whole voyage is rebuilt: twenty tiers and 600 ships, the Hostile Waters where the enemy fires back, a living sea with weather, sea life and night, new skills (Matey Rain, Gun Crew Big Boy and a second gun crew), ship colours and skies earned at sea, and fifteen languages. Will my old voyage carry over to 2.0?
Yes. If you played the earlier version in the same browser, 2.0 brings your gold, pearls, Pacts and colours aboard the first time it starts, and leaves your old save untouched.
